The book ended by the following sentence:

"He put his arm around my shoulders. "Let's Go Home"

Do you this was an appropriate ending? Do you think that his dad will recover? If you were the author would you end the book like this?

i think is is an appropriate ending, because mabie the author was going to make a seccond book, so he was starting a new beginning for the story. So it is like an advertisment, and it is like making you want to wish there were mose into the story, cause then the reader wants it to not end.
other wise if he wasent going to make an ending he was just like ending it quickly before he ran out of ideas to say, but thats just on my perspective. (:

I think this was an appropriate ending because, it left the reader wondering, but it kind of ticked off the readers including me.

i think his dad will recover, at first he was lying and not participating and listening to his family but during the end he had listened, and he had learned and with the help of his family he will succeed.

I would definitly end the book like that but i would use diffrent wording, maybe at the end he should have added a PS or something like that to tell the reader if the father recovered or not

I agree with Mateen, I do think this is an appropriate ending by the sentence is telling the readers that the father although he has Post Traumatic Stress disorder he still loves his son and family and wants to get rid of the problem. But I disagree with Charlotte by saying the author wants to make another book, because if he was it would of ended in a question format.

I do think the dad will recover because now he is trusting his family more and wants his disorder to be gone.

I would allow the ending to end like this because it saying the father will be recovered and everything will be back to normal.
